1.1. About viCompte

viCompte is a smart minisoftware. It allows you to keep an eye on your incomes, your outcomes and therefore to manage your whole budget.
Thanks to this tool, it will now be easy to find and display a particular bank transaction. You will also be able to sort them in different categories and to build up multiple graphs and statistics.
Therefore you will be able to follow up your budget evolution, to track out your majors expenses, and so on. No more bad surprise … you can manage your personal finance.

One important thing about viCompte, is that we can quickly update the software following the user community needs and request. So, if you have a particular need, a comment or a question, do not hesitate to contact us or to register on the forum.

1.2. viCompte’s overview

viCompte allows you:

• To have one or several user profile:
  • Just yours;
  • Yours and your spouse’s one;
  • Yours and your business’s one; etc..
• For each user, several account may be created:
  • A checking account;
  • A saving account;
  • A joint account, etc..
• For each account:
  • You can import your bank file directly from within viCompte;
  • You may use bank file saved locally on your PC;
  • You may use files exported from other financial management software;
  • viCompte may be used with most of the files format;
  • You can easily update your files;
  • You may create your own transaction, your own files.
• To sort, class, group easily transaction by:
  • Defining several types of bank transactions;
  • Defining several types of counter parties (payees);
  • Giving a specific icons (picture) to each types (easy to visualise);
  • Creating your own personnal categories;
  • Entering a personnal detailed comment on a transaction;
  • Filtering on a period of time, on a date, on a specific account, on a category, etc.
• To view, analyze and balance your incomes and outcomes by:
  • Using all the graph possibilities offered by viCompte;
  • Using the balance tools to visualize expenses and incomes side by side;
  • Creating graph for each category, transaction type, counter party, etc.
• To ease your live:
  • As it includes a small calculator;
  • As it includes a Excel export tool.
